If you wish to apply for membership of the ASC, please download the appropriate application form from this page and send it to us.

  • FULL
Full membership is only open to principals and employees of independent security consultancies. Membership is on an individual basis and does not apply to the business whether it is sole trader, partnership or limited company. One member only from an organisation may serve at any one time on the ASC Council. All changes of employment are to be notified to Council, which will consider the continued membership status.

Current fees are £100 (non-refundable) on application plus £200 subscription per annum, on acceptance. A second employee within the same company, group or in partnership with a full member will be charged £100 (non refundable) on application plus £100 subscription per annum, on acceptance

Member consultants qualify for an entry in the Register of Members, which is available to potential clients as well as other organisations. Other benefits include the opportunity to attend all ASC functions, use of the Association logo, circulation of ASC publications, the availability of informal advice and assistance as well as the chance to network with other, like minded, individuals.

Functions held throughout a year include member’s forums, Business Club meetings (also open to non members), Christmas Lunch, a keynote lunch to which VIP’s and opinion formers are invited, and the annual conference known as CONSEC.

  • AFFILIATION
Affiliation is open to those persons who would not qualify for membership but who are employed to provide independent security advice and may include, amongst others, insurance surveyors, crime prevention officers and corporate security advisors. All changes of employment are to be notified to Council, which will consider the continued membership status.

Current fees are £100 (non-refundable) on application and £100 subscription per annum.

Benefits include access to all meetings and circulation of ASC publications but there will be NO right to use the Association’s logo or name. Names and addresses of Affiliates are shown in a section at the rear of the Register.

  • OVERSEAS AFFILIATION

  • Similar to affiliation as described above but for those consultants based overseas who are employed to provide independent security advice. All changes of employment are to be notified to Council, which will consider the continued membership status.

Current fees are £100 (non-refundable) on application and £150 subscription per annum.

Benefits are similar to Affiliation as outlined above.
