"Out of Recession to Securing the Future" is the theme for the ASC's Annual International Conference CONSEC 2011

"Out of Recession to Securing the Future" is the theme for CONSEC 2011, the annual international conference/exhibition of the Association of Security Consultants (ASC).  Now In its 17^th year, it will be held on Thursday 3^rd November 2011 at the prestigious venue of the Royal Air Force Museum at Hendon, London. The event will be interest not only to Security Professionals, but also to leaders in Government, Industry and Commerce.

Peter Clarke CVO OBE QPM, former Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Specialist Operations and now an independent consultant, will be chairing the conference.

Lord James Bethell, one of the staunch Patrons of the Association, will provide the Opening Address.

Other eminent speakers are scheduled, including a high level representative from the Home Office who will submit a presentation entitled "The Impact of Recession - An Increase of the Risk of the Insider Threat?"  A spokesman from SOCA will provide details about the economic downturn and the impact on crime.
