Business Group Meeting May 2023

All of the seats were taken when members of the ASC attend London’s historic Honourable Artillery Company for the May 2023 Business Group Meeting.

Roger Noakes, opened the event with a welcome to the seven new members of the ASC, as well as many long standing members and associates who were at the event.  He gave everyone an update on the arrangements for CONSEC where virtually all of the stands have now been booked. He explained that the board have cancelled the Business Group Meeting for July, as traditionally it is not well attended during the summer holiday period.

After a break out period where members enjoyed the opportunity to network, Paul Renham from Veracity Systems, spoke about working with the National Protective Security Authority [NPSA] and the process to attain qualifying requirements for Cyber Assurance of Physical Security Systems [CAPSS]. CAPSS provides a mechanism by which CNI sites can have confidence that software and hardware security solutions have strong and effective cyber mitigations at the core of their development and operation.
