Richard has been working in the security industry for 34 years. 

Specialising in Access Control, CCTV, Intruder alarms, Electronic Gates and Intercoms and Concierge system, perimeter security, Secure By Design across multiple different sectors,  Education,Commercial Developments, Housing and Utilities.

During this time Richard has also lectured in intruder alarms,CCTV, Access control and electronics, teaching City & Guilds 185, Parts 1 and 2 at Kitson College, Leeds.

Richard has considerable experience in designing to Secured By Design guidelines, liaising with the relevant Crime Reduction Officers and Architectural Liaison Officers within the local police authorities to obtain the accreditation.
